IDSA is the Industrial Designers Society of America. We are a multifaceted collective of students and professionals who convene for the purpose of enhancing the field, evolving our collective knowledge and awareness of pressing topics within Industrial and Product Design, and offer professional and educational opportunities to all of our constituents.

Though Parsons IDSA as an organization is not directly on the hiring board at any professional institutions, our network is expansive and many of our constituents have the potential to be able to introduce you to others in the field and maybe offer you a referral! However this is all not guaranteed and it is up to the interpersonal relationships and individual actions being taken to get the most of what IDSA Parsons has to offer. Just remember that nobody is obligated to hand you opportunities.

Though we remain in regular contact and deliberation with the general New York chapter, we are specifically an independent chapter that is tied to the Parsons School of Design.
